West Loop, Chicago
Chicago's West Loop is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods. Among the diverse opportunities for visitors to the West Loop are art galleries, upscale markets and boutiques. The FLATFILE galleries features photographic art. Gallery 400, founded in 1983, offers a look at contemporary art. Pagoda Red offers a look at antiques, decorative, furniture, and Asian arts.
Between the months of May and October the Chicago Antique Market, runs as both an indoor and outdoor market. The market offers everything from furniture to jewelry. The West Loop also offers an escape room for those looking for some fun and critical thinking.
City Winery is also a wonderful West Loop attraction. The winery offers food, beverages and live music. They also have Wine Events periodically. The Goodman Theater is a great place for anyone looking to see a great production. The theater is the oldest in Chicago and their largest not-for profit theater.
The Lincoln Park Conservatory offers a stroll through a beautiful greenhouse with exotic and ancient plants. The greenhouses also grow the plants that are used throughout the park. The Brookfield Zoo is home to over 2,500 animals. One could never get bored in the West Loop, with all anyone needs located in the historically beautiful area, that is constantly developing.
