The measurement from the edge of the Brim across is approximately 11.5 inches from front to back and 101/4 inches side to side. The Satin Ribbon Hat Band measures about 1 inch wide. The Collapsible Top Hat is made of a nice matte finish black polyester knit fabric. There is a hidden metal mechanism that allows the collapsible feature. The edge of the brim is nicely bound with the same fabric. One size fits most adults.
